On the 4.7.18
We gone to a Argentinian restaurant called El Gaucho.
It was mostly a steak house but with a great purpose. Because it’s sausages were the best sausages I ever had in ages and the burgers were really delicious.
After all that food it felt that i could not eat any breakfast.
When I was leaving the next day I wanted to stay because of El Gaucho.
Swimming Medal
Last swim meet at Shanghai I got a medal for 100 meters freestyle 4 times our pool at SSIS.
I got bronze medal so that means I got third out of all 8 and under swimmers.
It was hard because my usual time is 1.58 but on that day it was 1.36 so I gone super fast the other 2 people were 1.34 and 1.32.
New iPad
On March 27th
I got a new iPad that I was saving up for. My Grandma Grandpa and Grandad helped me save up for my iPad.
It took me 2 years to save up for one. I was close to the money I needed so my mum and dad payed the rest of it.
My dad had it at Singapore before at Suzhou. So he set up the iPad with games and learning apps.
The name of my iPad is called Austin’s iPad.
Bookmark Competition
On Monday this week it is the bookmark competition to celebrate our library in SSIS. Lots of different people are competing to win including me. I wanted to join it because it could be fun but it is but you need to do a lot of hard work.
This bookmark competition will go on to March the 9th. I’m putting a lot of effort into my work. And here’s a photo of my work.
The Chinese New Year Break
The Chinese New Year Break
This Chinese New Year Break was fun because we got to see lots of people and friends. We had lots of dinners together it was all fun. Me my mum and dad went to 2 hotels the W hotel and the Kerry hotel.
I saw 2 of my friends in the W hotel. Almost every day we gone swimming together 🏊🏻♂️🏊🏻♂️🏊🏻♂️. And when I was in my house I almost played video games in the morning.

At the beginning of February I had the production.
My character was Simon bun/Simonin bun. Our role play was called The Very Very Gingerbread Man.

The production was very fun. After we came out some people said that I was a good character. So they asked my mum and dad if it came from them but they said no.
U.O.I
My new unit is about ancient artefacts from 1000 years from now.
My class is enjoying this unit journey and it is very fun.
Our ancient civilisations are romans, Greeks ,China, Indians, Turkey,and other civilisations.
Science Experiment
Today i will teach you how to extract DNA from onions.
First of course you need tools.
Tools.
Chopped onions.
A little small pestle.
A small bowl.
Alcohol.
Glass ball necklace that is 3 centimetres long
Now let’s get on to the real things.
1st put the chopped onions into the small bowl.
2nd get the small pestle and smash the onions as hard as you can.
3rd after that get all the DNA into a ball and have no onions in it.
4th add some alcohol into the ball make sure you only have two centimetres of the alcohol.
5th you should now have 3 centimetres of DNA right now.
6th put all the DNA carefully into the glass 3 centimetres cup that is a base of a necklace pour it in there and close it tightly.
What Is Coming Up
Well I have not did a post in a while so I’m doing one for what is coming up.
I right now am having some things you can do like some exercises and science experiences so be ready.
Human Body
At school right now I’m learning about the human body.
When you heard that you would be thinking stuff like the eyes the mouth and the ears but I’m learning about the body systems.
I’ve been learning about the digestive system and the skeletal system and the nervous system and the respiratory system.
But my personal system is the nervous system.
